 I am writing to thank you for the excellent results achieved by the
Cannizaro team in improving productivity and service levels within our
facilities management contract with the Metropolitan Police.
In just 24 weeks, jobs completed per man day have increased by more than 50%.
This has delivered over £2m per
annum in measurable bottom line savings while simultaneously improving quality
and service.
We have been very impressed with the whole Cannizaro approach. The fast and accurate
picture of the real problems impeding performance came from your initial three
week review. The pragmatic solutions and management tools developed and implemented
during the programme eliminated those problems. We were especially pleased with
the ability of the Cannizaro team to work within our organisation at all levels.
In particular more than 60 supervisors now have the tools, training and motivation
to ensure continuous improvement of the contract's performance and profitability.
The programme has been delivered on time for the fixed cost agreed at the outset
and has achieved a return on investment of more than 4:1
We were looking for a partner who, whilst aware of the bigger picture, would
be able to find and address the devil in the detail. This has been particularly
relevant in helping us implement major IT changes during the programme. I am
