Last year, our boards decided, that in an increasingly competitive marketplace, we would engage Cannizaro to see if they could help us to significantly further improve performance, productivity and profitability within our Partnerships Maintenance and Stock Reinvestment business.

Cannizaro's short but intensive initial review of systems, processes and most importantly practices and behaviours within revealed considerable scope for improvement. The quality and perceptiveness of the review, the professionalism of your team and the clear and unambiguous way in which the task ahead was laid out, meant we had little hesitation in proceeding into a programme with Cannizaro to deliver the improvement potential identified.

Six months later, I am delighted to say that the programme has been completed on schedule and has left as not only a better managed and more efficient business but one that now offers customers and tenants alike a significantly improved service.

Cannizaro has provided us with the tools and skills required to effectively match resources to work flows and to better manage costs at the point of delivery. Early local level involvement in the development of solutions, combined with intensive on the job training, has transformed managerial and supervisory effectiveness and commitment. Lost time has been dramatically reduced and very significant cash savings have been realised. The annualised return on investment for the programme is expected to be in excess of 4 : 1

We will shortly commission Cannizaro to undertake a further review within the Willmott Dixon Group with full anticipation of another great success.
